Wegener to leave the Nationale Regiopers
Koninklijke Wegener NV has announced that it will be ending its participation in the Nationale Regiopers CV (NRp) at the end of 2010. The NRp is the sales organisation for publishers of regional daily newspapers for use by national advertisers. The NRp was founded in 1998 by the collective regional daily newspapers.
Wegener is taking this step to help to achieve its cross-media ambitions in the national advertising market. Wegener will integrate the sales organisation focusing on the national advertising market, for both the regional daily newspapers and websites, in the Wegener Huis-aan-huisMedia’s existing National Sales & Marketing department in Houten.
