Transfer of 37% interest in AD Nieuwsmedia completed
Further to earlier press releases, Koninklijke Wegener NV announces that the transfer of Wegener’s 37% interest in AD NieuwsMedia BV to PCM Uitgevers BV was completed today. Wegener’s printing plant in The Hague has been transferred to PCM at the same time.
Completion of these transactions was possible once Mecom’s shareholders had approved the transfer and the works councils involved had given a positive recommendation. The Netherlands Competition Authority also agreed.
The transfer of PCM Lokale Media BV to Wegener had already been effected on July 15.
